This California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") notice, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"), supplements the information in our Privacy Policy and applies solely to visitors, users, and callers who reside in the State of California ("consumers" or "you"). Terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this notice.

Who we are: havencover.online, operator of havencover.online. We are an advertising and referral service. We are not an insurance company, agency, or broker. When you call, you may be connected with a licensed insurance agent who is independent of us and maintains their own privacy practices.

Information We Collect

We collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or device ("personal information"). In the preceding twelve (12) months we may have collected the following categories:

Information Not Covered

Personal information does not include:

Publicly available information from government records.
Deidentified or aggregated consumer information.
Information excluded from the CCPA's scope, including:
- Health or medical information covered by HIPAA and the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act (CMIA), or clinical trial data;
- Personal information covered by certain sector-specific privacy laws, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), the California Financial Information Privacy Act (FIPA), and the Driver's Privacy Protection Act of 1994.

[Important for this offer: insurance is a financial product, and information collected in connection with an insurance transaction is frequently governed by the GLBA and FIPA rather than the CCPA. Sources of Collection

Directly from you — information you provide during a telephone call. This website has no web form and does not collect contact details through the site itself.
Indirectly from you — from observing your activity on the site.
From third-party business partners — advertising networks, affiliate partners, analytics providers, and call tracking or telephony providers.

Use of Personal Information

We may use or disclose the personal information we collect for one or more of the following business purposes:

To fulfill or meet the reason you provided the information, including connecting you with a licensed insurance agent.
To route, record, and attribute inbound telephone calls.
To provide, support, and improve our website and services.
To respond to your inquiries and provide support.
For advertising and marketing purposes, including measuring campaign performance.
To maintain the safety, security, and integrity of our website and business.
For testing, research, and analysis.
To respond to law enforcement requests and as required by applicable law, court order, or governmental regulation.
As described to you when collecting your personal information, or as otherwise set forth in the CCPA.

We will not collect additional categories of personal information, or use personal information for materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purposes, without providing you notice.

Sharing Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to a third party for a business purpose. When we do, we enter a contract that describes the purpose and requires the recipient to keep the information confidential and not use it for any purpose except performing that contract.

In the preceding twelve (12) months, we have disclosed the following categories for a business purpose: A (Identifiers), B (California Customer Records), D (Commercial information), F (Internet activity), G (Geolocation data), H (Sensory data).

We disclose personal information to the following categories of third parties:

Compensation disclosure: we receive compensation from insurers, agencies, or marketing partners for connecting consumers with agents. This may influence which agents you are connected with and in what order.

Your Rights and Choices

The CCPA provides California residents with specific rights regarding their personal information.

Right to Know and Data Portability

You may request that we disclose certain information about our collection and use of your personal information over the past 12 months. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request, we will disclose:

The categories of personal information we collected about you.
The categories of sources for that information.
Our business or commercial purpose for collecting, selling, or sharing it.
The categories of third parties with whom we share it.
The specific pieces of personal information we collected about you.

Right to Correct

You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you, taking into account the nature of the information and the purposes of processing.

Right to Delete

You may request that we delete personal information we collected from you and retained, subject to exceptions. We may deny a deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for us or our service providers to:

Complete the transaction for which we collected it, provide a service you requested, or otherwise perform our contract with you.
Detect security incidents, or protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity.
Debug products to identify and repair errors impairing intended functionality.
Exercise free speech or ensure another consumer's right to do so, or exercise another right provided by law.
Comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act (Cal. Penal Code § 1546 et seq.).
Engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest, where deletion would seriously impair it and you previously gave informed consent.
Enable solely internal uses reasonably aligned with your expectations based on your relationship with us.
Comply with a legal obligation, including insurance and telemarketing recordkeeping requirements.
Make other internal and lawful uses compatible with the context in which you provided it.

Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing

You may direct us to stop selling or sharing your personal information, including for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information

Where sensitive personal information is collected, you may limit its use to what is necessary to perform the services reasonably expected. [Applies only if Category L above is confirmed as collected.]

Exercising Your Rights

To exercise the rights described above, submit a verifiable consumer request by either:

Only you, or a person registered with the California Secretary of State whom you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a request on behalf of your minor child.

You may make a verifiable consumer request for access or data portability twice within a 12-month period. The request must:

Provide sufficient information for us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information, or an authorized representative.
Describe your request with enough detail for us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.

We cannot respond to your request or provide personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority and confirm the information relates to you. Information provided in a verifiable consumer request will be used only to verify the requestor's identity or authority.

Response Timing and Format

We endeavor to respond within forty-five (45) days of receipt. If we require more time, up to a further 45 days, we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. Disclosures will cover the 12-month period preceding receipt of the request. Our response will explain any reasons we cannot comply.

We do not charge a fee to process or respond to a verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine a fee is warranted, we will explain why and provide a cost estimate before completing the request.

Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. Unless permitted by the CCPA, we will not:

Deny you goods or services.
Charge you different prices or rates, including through discounts, benefits, or penalties.
Provide you with a different level or quality of goods or services.
Suggest that you may receive a different price, rate, level, or quality of goods or services.

Changes to This Notice

We reserve the right to amend this notice at our discretion and at any time. When we make changes, we will post the updated notice on the website and revise the effective date. Continued use of the website following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance.
